Jersey Shore: The Situation's top 10 critical moments

Abercrombie & Fitch are willing to pay one of the show's stars a substantial sum not to wear its clothes. Is this a wise move?

First it was the Italians that were horrified. Then Dell and Domino's pulled their advertising ... watching these clips it's not too hard to see why Abercrombie & Fitch too do not want to be associated with the show, to the extent that they're prepared to pay one fan a "substantial sum" not to wear their brand. The Situation ? possibly not the name he was born with, that'd be Mike Sorrentino ? is the breakout star of reality show Jersey Shore, which follows eight self-proclaimed "guidos" and "guidettes" during their summer stay on the shore. The hairgelled himbo acquired his nickname from his habit of pulling up his T-shirt and inflicting his rippling six-pack on whoever is around, announcing, "That's The Situation!" When he's not working on his creosote tan or his glistening abs, he spends his time trying to lure drunken women back to the house's rancid hot tub. Fascinating and mind-numbing at the same time, it's hard to take your eyes off him. Here then, are 10 clips that give you the measure of the man ? have we missed any?
