Newspapers Follow Groupon's Suit; Enjoy Slice of Group-Buying Pie


While it is not yet nearly enough to stop the steady bleed in print ad dollars, media companies are seeing their own Groupon-style deals bring in new revenue. Better yet, the revenue is often from entirely new customers.
